Default BUMMER!

Well, I thought I was going to Dublin for two days this afternoon, but all the ferries have been cancelled!!!

Instead I have been treated to running round the garden picking up bits of rubbish as the wheelie bin blew over! I am reminded of a quote of Blackadder

"The path of my life is strewn with cowpats from the Devil's own Satanic herd"

I've just heard on the news that a passenger ferry has crashed into a Royal Navy Friggate in the strong winds off Portsmouth, so, as annoying as ferry cancellations are, I think you got the good end of the deal.

I know, I'm just glad I didn't set off in the first place. Poor things. I hope there is no loss of life.

Now, if my wonky chimney stays up throughout the storms I'll count myself fortunate. The fence panels are defo a goner!

We're having strong winds here too, this morning. I've just watched the cover off my rotary washing line go flying off to where I do not know.

I'm certainly not going to chase after it. I'm saving my energy for next Saturday!!

Sorry about your fence panels, ROB.

Windy here in Suffolk too!!

I'm not even venturing outside today (got a hangover anyway after a belly-full of wine last night!!)

Going to sit nice and quite, surf the net and listen to the wind outside........

Windy in Leicester too ......... I'm also keeping a low profile. I'm back to school tomorrow after half term. I have had a very lazy week. i think my boody was trying to tell me that I needed a rest!! Nothing really was done (except for a couple of jigsaws - how sad is that?)

Great view by the way Mark!!!

Can anyone tell me how to include mu own pics in a post????????

When typing your post, click on the browse button at the botom of the screen and then find your pic in the usual way. When you save your post it will add your pic as an attachment.

Just a word of caution though - and this is to everybody - attachments use a lot of database space and we would appreciate it if you use them sparingly.
