Default Three Tropical Storms

The tropics are very much alive at this moment in time as there are currently three, yes three tropical systems are currently active, thats Ana, Bill and Claudette. Lets start on Tropical Storm Claudette, she has just made landfall in Florida bringing strong winds exceeding 45mph and flooding rains, she will spread northward into Alabama and weakening into a depression by morning and will continue on a northwesterly course through mainland USA. Next lets look at recently downgraded Tropical Depression Ana she was downgraded from a storm around an hour again and is expected to make landfall in the carribbean within the next 3/4 hours, as she leaves the carribbean she will develop into a storm once again before making a second landfall in the dominican republic tomorrow. Last we have Bill who looks to the the first major hurricane of 2009, more on him later in the week. Meanwhile you can get the latest on this in the KWFS hurricane centre.
