and i agree with Briffa
Briffa's blog The time has come to give wannabee werewolf Siavash the silver bullet. He can't carry on breaking the rules when and if it suits him. And with such a lack of conviction. Three weeks ago he made a big song and dance about taking himself out of the game. This resulted in Hira being evicted. Last week he somehow managed to compromise his deep moral stance by nominating again. This week, he refuses to nominate, because Bea is the same person. So why did he nominate her last week? Then, when BB threatens him with punishment, he whispers "Bea". But too late. BB's decided to punish him. The previous punishment must have really suited him. Everybody is up and there's not so much tension in the air. Sophie goes with it too. Never mind the tension he causes in others. David, Charlie and a few others weren't happy, and when he did it again this week we had the same reaction. Siavash likes to struggle with his conscience, but somehow his conscience always loses. The punishment was beyond a joke. Whoever he touched first and second would be up, whoever's names Sophie uttered first and second would be up. But we were only told this afterwards. How do we know BB wasn't cooking the books again? The obvious, simplest punishment would have been to scrap the nominations and make it Siavash v Sophie then warn them for next week that if anyone tries this again they won't be coming out of the diary room. That's what I'd have done. It would have protected Bea for another week. Wouldn't they have wanted that? Anyway, Siavash is a cowardy custard, and if he doesn't want to be in the game he should be taken out. At least Bea and Charlie are playing it, and at least Sophie doesn't make a song and dance about it. She doesn't go asking everyone what she would do, mulling things over like some reality tv Hamlet. In BB5 Dan made a big deal about how he didn't want to win. Whenever the others probed him about it, his reasoning was never particularly cleart, but he kept insisting on it. The look on his face when it was announced he'd come third was a picture. If he'd never said it, he might well have won. As it is he slipped in behind Jason and Nadia. Why would people want to give money to someone who isn't trying and says they don't want it? Siavash doesn't deserve any better. Last night's masturbategate might well have killed off the Dark Horse's chances too. It didn't help the aforementioned Jason, and if he gets into the final two, even if he's in the lead, I can see a lot of people suddenly voting for the other person, on an anyone-but-Marcus ticket, in the same way that Rachel jumped over Mikey last year when he was in the lead, but there was still an hour before the vote count began. This year it looks more and more as though Rodrigo will be walking off with the crown. For a game player, Marcus hasn't played it all that brilliantly. Public masturbation, and all that swearing won't have done him any favours at all |
