indeed. you're all such nasty cynics. not everyone has an ulterior motive for everything. he's a really nice, genuine guy. the reason he loves the UK is because we're a lot more open with sexuality. he's said in Brazil his family didn't discuss it. it must feel awful having to feel bad for who you are.

I think it's a bit of a sweeping to claim the UK is more open with sexuality than Brazil, Brazil is quite a sexual nation and has a well known lgbt pride parade. The issue he faces with his family is different and acting like a spoilt child at times on a UK reality tv show will probably not make them feel any prouder.

I'm not that cynical really but we are into series 10 of Big brother, have had so many reality tv shows and stories of housemates having agents before they go in etc and bullshit stories once they leave. It's a game show their intention is to win i'm cynical when they claim otherwise.

absolutely. I'm Brazilian and I can tell you evangelical Christians in Brazil are stricter then in any other country I've visited. My cousin got kicked out of the worship group in his church by his own father because he got a girl pregnant out of marriage... my cousin was 26.

First of all i would say America (with the exception of Vatican City) are probably the most stern regarding homosexuality within the Church and secondly been persecuted at a church...i'm sorry but what do you expect from the church? Sorry to hear about your cousin but it's hardly a shocking outcome

No....Italians from Trieste, Bolzano e Trento have Austrian citizenship before than me who live in Naples....
