Day 83:
For this week’s shopping task, the housemates will travel into the future to Big Brother in the year 2209.

As the housemates woke up today, they noticed that the house had a new futuristic feel to it, including a metallic silver diary room door.

Lisa got the task intructions from Big Brother and read out the details.

“For this week’s Shopping Task, housemates have travelled into the future to Big Brother in the year 2209. In the future, Big Brother is open to aliens, robots and androids, as well as traditional human housemates.”

She continued reading out the details and then said: “I love aliens! I believe in them.”

The housemates then assigned roles to each other. No one was particularly bothered apart from Rodrigo, who requested that he and Sophie were robots.

David and Lisa will be aliens, while Charlie will be an astronaut as he wasn’t sure what an android was.

“I thought it was like a star,” said Charlie.

Marcus explained to him: “Androids are like human robots.”

Marcus and Siavash then volunteered to be the androids. Siavash didn’t speak much after having a falling out last night with Charlie and Rodrigo, as he told the housemates that he hadn’t nominated.

The constumes arrived soon afterwards, and it was Sophie and Rodrigo who were first to take part in their challenge. Their task involves learning the viral dance phenomenon Daft Bodies, performed to Daft Punk’s ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’.

If the housemates pass the overall task, they will win a luxury shopping budget of £5 per head per day.
