Does anyone remember Davina blowing on and creating curiosity about one of the housemates not being the person we think they are...WTF anyone have any update on that or was it a weak attempt to stimulate interest in the show

Empty bullshit designed to try and squeeze a few more views out of the public. Comments like that imply one of the housemates has been given a secret task or is actually a Big Brother employee -- neither of which are true. Davina says things like that whenever the viewing figures drop, it's best just to ignore her and let her prattle on.

I remember her saying this as well and a few people have brought it up on here throughout the series.

Nothing seems to have come of it so far though so probably just a throwaway comment from Davina. She does talk crap a lot of the time to be fair.

I am so glad you brought this up. The Launch is a fading memory but I do believe that is when she hyped that up.
Oddly enough and despite the big curious gasp from the crowd it was never returned to.

It almost could be interpreted (not really) but somehow trying to be explained by the 'opening twist' where we found out that none of them were actually Housemates.
But.. no, that doesn't fit.

I had supposed that Bea was in fact a new hire on the BB psychology team and with the season in bad shape they entered her, armed with in-depth knowledge and expert advice, to deliberately stir the hell out of the house,
and,
it would then be revealed to the public she was a 'mole' the whole time.
Someone here did say they knew she had worked for BB last summer as a 'Dummy contestant' for the 'dry runs' or something?

But even that doesn't square because I do believe Davina made that announcement either on Launch or much earlier in the season before the New HMs arrived.

Did something happen that I missed?
Was it so lame that nobody really cared enough?
Didn't most of us agree it would be revealing Rodrigo was once a woman?

I was thinking along the same lines as Bea being a BB hire, her dad does work on the production team...think I heard that on this forum but not sure how credible the source is.

Another possible option could be one of the newer house mates who were put in but seeing as they (Ken & Tom) walked perhaps they dissolved the story ...I don't know I think I'm pulling at straws now

And they didn't say that someone wasn't who we think they are!! They said something more along the lines of Something isn't what we think it is. That was at the VERY BEGINNING and then we found out that the housemates weren't really housemates yet. THAT was what they meant and it hasn't been mentioned since.

There is no mole. There is no plant. Bea wasn't an actress, she was just a beatch.

did she say this on launch night? ive heard it mentioned a few times on here but my tv broke before the end so i missed the last four or so people going in and i didnt get it working again till it was over.

i guess it coud just be to get people interested but it's not something you would say unless its true though is it? the most likely thing would be someone on a secret mission but surely we would have found out by now?
