I think he didn't expect to win which is why he kept saying he wanted to go..personally I think he was saying that cos he thought he was going each time he was up....until....
Until he survived against Freddie. He now knows he's popular & informed the hms not to nominate him because he no longer wants to go. I don't know if he thinks he'll win but I'm sure he's confident about being in the top 3 at least! We know he's confident about staying this week anyway!

maybe, but, i think he thought he avoided eviction against freddie because he saw freddies behaviour as something the public wouldnt like.
