Looks like Jimmy Savile will only spend one day in the house.

YORKSHIRE showbiz legend Sir Jimmy Savile is set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house – but for one day only.

Channel 4 have reportedly offered TV's former fix-it king a whopping £150,000 to join the reality show, which kicked off again on Thursday.

Today, though, 79-year-old Sir Jimmy told the Yorkshire Evening Post that he had turned down the chance to become a fully-fledged housemate.
However, he has agreed to call in for LUNCH with Michael Barrymore, George Galloway and the rest of the contestants – possibly as soon as this weekend.

Sir Jimmy said: "There is no way I'd go in there for real. I'm a free spirit and couldn't stand being cooped up."

"What I have said I will do, though, is have lunch with them and see if there's anything they want me to fix for them."

"I'll be taking my own food - I know they can run a bit low on rations at times!"
