I thought she was great. For the second show she came to her own.

These nut jobs in the media are trying to make out she should be coming out with numerous bits of technical knowledge and criticising to the bone and being utterly brutal and ripping them apart with the bravado of somebody with 10 years of dance experience.

They forget, if she did that, the press would also destroy her but also being so brutal and critical is ultimately unnecessary. She said the right things for a first two nights. It's like these guys haven't really had much training - she's not going to be a muppet and rip them apart on day one.

Arlene was never good - she was wrong most of the time. Just that she gave all that bravado and said things like your arm should be straight, pull your shoulders back, don't be so floppy, you're crouching, etc etc.

Don't worry - I am sure Alesha will take Arlene's book of Strictly critique eventually and then the media can rubbish her some more for saying what Arlene repeatedly said but for not being Arlene when she said it...
