The post count issue is a tricky one... do we leave them on for all areas of the forum, or not?

The upside is people are happier in general, the downside is the amount of spam increases.

An interesting thing about vB is all posts in the Social Groups do not count towards post count.

My initial thoughts are that all "Chat" threads should probably be allowed. Threads like the Lounge and Brotherhood, while do contain a lot of 1 word answers, sometimes do have legit posts in. All "Game" threads, I suggest go into a social group.. so posts like 'count to 100000' won't be credited. I think this is a pretty good way to solve it, and as far as I know there currently isnt a way to make Social Groups posts count towards post count, so anything posted in them is just for 'cliquey' purposes.
