Mentioned it in the other thread but I get this feeling that this will be Dermot's last year of doing X Factor.

What with all the changes every year it's bound to happen sooner or later and even though he's just joking most of the time I think Simon does get pissed off when he takes the mick out of him.

Hopefully I'm wrong anyway, he's a lot better than Kate and I think he suits XF well.

I'm thinking this is Dannii's last one as well, I don't think she has ever really liked XF, but I think after having an awful year last year, this year is just about settling unfinished business, ie not going out on a complete low.

Dermot will be going I feel aswell, and I can see the categories being shuffled.

I'd also prefer Cheryl to go over Dannii, but IMO they should both stay in the job. Maybe Louis should go.

Dermot and Holly's banter on the Xtra Factor is probably one main reason he's still there. I like him, I think he's a good presenter, but Simon's the man with the plan, so what he says goes.

Cheryl won't lose her job, despite their bickering, he clearly won't get rid of her unless she wants to leave. I don't think they'll have any reshuffles for next year personally.

Cheryl is loved and X Factor has made her one of the most talked about girls in the UK

Simon is leaving after next year and has told the Daily Mail That Cheryl is going to be the new face of X Factor when he leaves,

Meaning well be seeing Cheryl judging X Factor for years to come.


I love Dermot presenting X Factor, he brings fun to the show..

I can see why Cheryl might not always be around since X Factor takes up a lot of time and she might choose to focus on GA or other ventures. She'll never get sacked though. I can't see Dannii getting sacked, to say she's always ignored she does attract a lot of press for the X Factor and all publicity is good publicity.

I do hope Dermot goes though, he's completely awkward on stage and his 'jokes' fall flat. Give Holly the main presenter's job, she always gels well with judges and contestants. I hope she hasn't quit.

Currently, he does the X Factor on a Saturday and Sunday, then on Monday, he flys out to America to tape American Idol auditions which started a few months back, but hasn't aired yet in America, and then he flys back again to do the X factor again and so on.
The X Factor ends in December.
American Idol ends in May usually sometime.
The he has got Britain's Got Talent back in the UK in the Summer time.

The man is a money hungry power horse,
He literally gets paid something like $2,500 a mintue FFS.
And he'll never leave the X Factor until it actually has to finish up.

Simple as IMO.
