I think that Pete is one of the most grounded in that house, he might be annoying, rude and likes to change how he looks but he is very understanding when people are down, and has obviously worked very hard to understand himself over the years.

Pete goes too far because he's a damaged human being. I don't think he has redeeming enough qualities for everybody to like him. Some will love him, some will hate him. Nature didnt give him a break, why should he give anybody a break?

I think he's alright, what more can you want really. At least he's honest, and being alright is better than pretending to be great, while being totally completely false. Like other housemates.
