Default is the rumour true

about Fame Academy official people going round Fame Academy related spin off sites and wanting all things from the FA site to be removed from them??

i was just told i had to remove all my pictures and stuff from FA site off my Ains website cos they would take action because of copyright breach?? is that true??
my websites ruined....im gutted....

Where did you hear this from?

I would think it is highly unlikey, but you never know.

It is my understanding that you can continue to use things on your site as long as the content is your own, and not from the BBC.

This is probably what they want, all images and stories that are from their site taken down.

Don't quote me on that though. Let us know what happens

Who told you to take them down?

Was it lawyers or the BBC, or anyone like that?

It could just be someone having a (bad) joke.

no it wasnt lawyers, it was another girl who has a site for Ainslie and she came on mine and said there was a rumour saying action may be taken unless material from the official site was taken off which means taking all pictures (except a couple) and some interviews from him. She has already got rid of her pictures in case. ah well.....if they dont want support for the show or ex-contestants then whatever....

Sounds a bit like a bad joke to me, i don't think the bbc would waste their time to be honest as it's promotion for their show and i expect they'll be happy with that
