Default Heidi Fleiss signs up for CBB
Seems pretty legit. A nobody. Drug addled, tax dodging pimpstress. This year's token crazy American, no doubt.

Heidi Fleiss was given permission Tuesday by a Nevada judge to participate in the 7th season of "CBB" in London in January, the Las Vegas Review-Journal is reporting. No one opposed her request to leave the country.

Fresh off her inpatient drug treatment program stint on VH1's "Celebrity Rehab 2" with Dr. Drew Pinsky, in September Fleiss was sentenced to three years probation on felony drug charges stemming from her February '08 arrest in Pahrump, a rural town 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas.

She needs to stay out of trouble, and away from drugs, through 2012.

The former HOllywood Madam, 43, plans to leave her home in Pahrump and her many birds in January to be on the show, which is in its last season. It was announced in August that Britain's Channel 4 would pull the plug on the series due to low viewer ratings.

Fleiss told the Review-Journal that she was to be paid $10,000 per episode, money she needs as her most recent endeavor, a dog grooming shop in Las Vegas, is apparently all washed up. She continues to draw a paycheck from a laundromat she owns in Pahrump called Dirty Laundry.

Even looking at her wikipedia article I had to have a good scan of it before I got a good idea of her actual role in life, which still seems somewhat unclear!

I remember seeing an E! show about her being a celebrity prostitute. She sounds interesting, I hope this is true.

She's not famous. As letmein says, she's infamous. She merely pimped out women to rich men and got caught. Lied on her taxes, got put in jail for a bit I believe. Not really a life I'd celebrate. I have no desire to see her put on a pedestal for the world, but I do like the show and wish CBB would make better choices at who they qualify as a "celebrity".. This woman doesn't deserve the attention and promotion IMHO. What's next? Child molesters? Serial axe murderers? President Bush?
