Bye bye NRJ... Hello Fun Radio

The 25 years of collaboration between Madonna and French radio NRJ have come to an end. NRJ was considered as the "Madonna Radio' in France, they used to heavily promote her albums and singles except for the latest ones and they even boycotted her because she refused to attend the NRJ Music Awards back in 2003.

Another French radio, Fun Radio, issued a press release yesterday announcing they signed a partnership with Madonna and Warner France, from now on they will be the official Madonna radio in France, they will give her the promotional support the best selling female recording artist of all time deserves.

The Celebration remix featuring Akon is already on heavy rotation on Fun Radio and a Madonna online radio, ''Celebration Station by Fun Radio'', will be launched on december 7.


They will also air an exclusive interview on december 4 at 6pm cet and for the occasion the Queen of Pop recorded a short message used in a tv commercial which is available to watch online here on Fun Radio website.

Rumour: Madonna dons bullet proof vest in Brazi

lMadonna insisted on wearing a bullet proof vest during her visit to a Rio de Janeiro slum even as she was accompanied by a squad of bodyguards.

The state governor also gave company to the 51-year-old hitmaker, reports the Daily Express.

Madonna stayed in the shanty town for nearly 40 minutes.

The star is trying to raise funds from local businessmen to aid a children’s charity there.

It contained the new songs “Celebration” and “Revolver”, plus 34 hits spanning her career.

I know its a load of rubbish isnt it! At least we can now know what she can premote on the X Factor final then - Revolver single!

Madonna would HAVE to go on the final as that is the only sate left which hasnt got any acts comfurmed for it(George Michael is but IDK about him).

That means she will have to preform with one of the acts too

Britney Channeled 'Classy' Madonna in Radar Video

Britney Spears has been compared to Madonna since she leapt onto the pop scene, dancing around in a schoolgirl uniform. The two did eventually hook up for 'Me Against the Music,' but Britney's video for 'Radar,' from her Circus album, really paid tribute to the pop queen and her ultra-glamorous Bedtime Stories period.

In the video, Britney is stuck in a love triangle with two very sexy polo players, who spend a good part of their time trying to woo Spears or riding their horses. Spears hooked up with 'Boys' director Dave Meyers for an ode to Madonna's 'Take a Bow.'

'That was the premise behind 'Radar.' [We were] looking for a way to take her into a contemporary, classy environment,' Meyers explained. 'I felt empowered by referencing Madonna's video. Britney hasn't done anything like that.'
