Default BBQ

As I still cant get around as much as normal I have been reduced to watching afternoon tv. To get me away from this I wonder if anyone has a copy of Paul and Helen building the bbq that I could borrow?

I promise to return asap and to take special care. If you can please U2U me and I will give you all details.

Yours hopefully.

BusyBee, no-one seems to have taped Paul and Helen building the barbeque. There were many requests for it at the time but most people, like me, watched it spellbound and didn't even think to put a darned tape in the machine.

There is an enormous queue of people who would dearly love to see it again but, to my knowledge, the only person we know has a copy is someone who lives not too far away from you.

I had a feeling no-one would have it, but thought posssibly one of our new members might.

How I could kick myself - I watched it too Miriam and was so enthralled I forgot to press the b****y record button.

Hello, Chilled. Yes, I did indeed see it at the time. I watched the whole thing and then thought "I hope they show this on Channel 4" as I'd not even thought to put a tape in!! Of course they didn't, did they?

I remember so little of it now as it was such a long time ago. Just that it was fascinating watching them work together as a team. Helen asking if she could help by passing him the "screwy things". SO funny. Paul getting himself in a state because he couldn't work out how to get the darned thing together properly!!

I do remember him saying at one point "This is like Dumb and Dumber build barbeque". It was hilarious to watch and I was so disappointed that Channel 4 didn't show it, or at least part of it. Of course, they got it together eventually but it took absolutely AGES and I remember E liz a beth was becoming quite impatient for her supper.

BusyBee, once your back is better, remember your QUEST!!

If anyone does have a copy please let me know, then we can all have one
I have to make this request every now and then to our new members.
We all would love to have Helen and Paul on thier Date in the den, it was never shown in full on Channel 4 or E4 so would be on interactive, 2 hours back or 4 hours back, because the stupid Director kept the main screen on Dean and Liz waffling. so please please let me know if any of you have it
