The reason his life pattern is repeated for many individuals is because they have highly addictive personalities. The only way to resist the addiction to alcohol and/or serious drugs is to transfer the addiction to an alternative. Both addictions involve a particular life style within a circle of a certain type of fellow sufferers and to be controlled by a dealer/priest who supplies the necessary materials. Both life-styles involve strict routines which take up a large part of each day and there is a stong desire to recruit new members into the group.

He seems like a really nice man but geez, the bible talk is really making my ears bleed. If I was in the house, I make sure Stephen knew how I thought about the matter.
