Abi Titmuss has revealed that she turned down the chance to enter Celebrity Big Brother.

The former glamour model said that she opted out of the reality show because of fears it would damage her acting career.

Writing on Twitter, the 33-year-old said: "I'm watching BB to see what I'm missing. I turned it down to follow my heart and act in a play. Love Davina though."

Heather Mills has claimed that she turned down the chance to appear on the last series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Paul McCartney's ex-wife told The Mirror that she had been offered a fee of £350,000 to appear on the show.

Speaking at the Dancing On Ice launch, Mills said: "I got asked to do Celebrity Big Brother for £350,000 to do that, but I said no, I'm sorry, because it's not positive like this.

Danny Dyer has claimed that he turned down Celebrity Big Brother because it wasn't "worth the aggro".

The Football Factor actor revealed last year that he had rejected an offer of £200,000 to enter the Channel 4 reality series.
