Default The Apprentice - episode two

Probably the right decision to sack Nargis - her sales pitch was pretty cringeworthy and awkward to watch.

Jo is good entertainment for the show, but she isn't a team player - it look like from the clips shown that she winds people up again next week as well.

The boys team seemed to be all at sea for a large part of this episode as well though. Ansell was a good mediator.

Incidentally there was a good programme on BBC 3 the other day called 'How to get your dream job' with Saira from last year's show. It was a bit like the show, 'Would like to meet', except for business.

I agree with you that Nargis was the right person to go in those circumstances, and it was pretty embarassing viewing in the cases of Nargis and Mani in their sales pitches - I could have probably done a better job myself!

Fancy going into a sales meeting not knowing the price of your product!

Plus, I agree with one of the girls, Michelle, I think, when she said that calendars are used to hold information, not necessarily to look stylish and "chic".

As much as it pains me to say it, Jo did have a point in that what on earth did cats have to do with G.O. St. For god's sake, it's a national charity, people all over the country will still buy it because of it's significance.

Plus, why all the tears?

I not a very good public speaker at all.... but I could have done a better pitch than Nargis! It was shocking and she was very arrogant. She seemed to show no appreciation that people had taken the time to listen to what they had to say. It was the right decision to "fire" her.

Although I dont think Jo will be able to calm herself down and she needs to focus on the task rather than going off on tangents. I have a feeling she might be going within the next couple of weeks.

I still cant figure out why Nargis took Karen into the board room! I think she will stay till the final few episodes. She has a good business head and doesnt get rattled easily.

Overall though.... it was cracking veiwing! Its only too weeks into the series and I'm hooked!
