America's top pedestrian safety expert Susie Stephens was in St Louis Missouri last March advising a cycling and walking conference on safety when she was run over and killed by a bus. The driver of the tour bus said he didn't see Ms Stephens as he made a left turn.

Wise cracking Bingo caller Michael Cave 65 died collapsed and died 15 minutes into his routine at the Gala Bingo Club in Reading, Berks. The last number he called was number 8..... pearly gates!

A 62 year old man choked to death after swallowing a live octopus at his home in Seoul, South Korea. Doctors removed the octopus, which was still alive and clinging to the man's gullet!

A 28 year old Iranian bridegroom died instantly while licking honey from his bride's finger during their marriage ceremony in the Northwestern City of Qazvin. The man sucked off more than he could chew and choked to death on one of her false nails!

Two men were playing pool in a bar near Moscow when a security guard stopped a man with a gun from entering the bar. After a fracas, the guard kicked the weapon out of the man's hands and it landed on the pool table. One of the players then picked it up with his cue to pass it to the guard. as the gun slid down the cue, the increasing thickness of the cue was enough to push the trigger, shooting and killing the 19 year old!
