If you are looking back to last nights it's during the party just after the last song played and they make a toast to Kat and heidi I wasn't sure if I picked it up wrong so watched it again today - she's complaining she's being singled out but comments like that no wonder she's up for eviction

Was a bit like when she said she had dodged bullets, after beating Fridays eviction vote. I say Kit her up in combats and ship her off to Helmund, where she can dodge real bullets and maybe learn a bit of teamwork.

Thats what's missing in the playstation generation: self discipline, bring back cold showers and national service I say.

I have just lost 5 very good friends in afghan and don't appreciate comments referring to our fallen heroes if you don't wish to be part of this debate without being rude and calling someone names then I suggest you seriously look at yourself

Its modern street talk, from the states where the members of gangs are referred to as soldiers, she didnt mean any disrespect towards any member of any armed forces killed in any current or previous conflict.

Or then again we could petition Davina to wash the little thugs mouth out with bleach and a scrubbing brush when she gets evicted tomorrow?

Not at all as I said before I liked her until that comment I just think in any circumstance it shouldn't be said especially when it's a game show and 2 people have only been evicted.

The phrase "fallen soldiers" has been in common usage for centuries.
It is applied to all sorts of situations especially in sport related prose.
It has no direct relevance to Afganistan or Iraq as some of you youngsters might think.
I found it quite pleasing that LS's speech can occasionally be decorated by an appropriate metaphor; or do you prefer "suck my tits"!
