Default Bidding for a date

This was in our local paper on Monday night.

For all those ladies out there whose Valentine cards bafflingy got lost in the post, never fear... the chance of a date with some of Manchester's most eligible bachelors is still in the offing.
Well a date with some of Manchester's bachelors, at least, for I hear Coronation Street stars Alan Hassall and Jimi Harkishin are to put themselves up for auction to the highest female bidder.
The soap duo will be joined by some of the city's top male modelling talent as well as last year's Big Brother contestants Spener and PJ to tout themselves unashamedly for charity.
Organised in aid of breast cancer, the auction is to take place at Deansgate Locks venue The Bar on March 26th.
Says one insider. "We've told them if the girls who win are not up to scratch we'll jump in in their place."
Very charitable.

I wonder how long after BB any of them get asked to this kind of thing

Not sure discolady. I think that there is an element of striking whilst the iron is hot.

One thing about BB3 contestants is that not one of them would seem to disagree with the adage that 'no publicity is bad publicity'.

Sadly for us, if understandably, the same cannot be said for certain BB2 contestants.

I think that both these lads realise, from looking at what has happened in the past, that they may disappear from the national consciousness as soon as BB4 is over.

Anyway, wouldn't give a fiver for either of them personally!

Now if it was for someone else.......... I might raid the piggy bank.

Spencer or PJ?

It's for a very admirable cause, but I'd be scared to make a bid in case I DID win a date with them.

(Sorry, chilledbootz - I know you have a soft spot for Spanky! )
