Excellent programme tonight - they all sang their hearts out.

I thought the duets were excellent, especially Will and Doon. She didn't seem nearly so nervous as when she sang solo.

I did think Kwame and Will would get the public vote - but it was nailbiting stuff at the end when it went down to who was third with the public.

Really enjoying this - pity it's only on for the week. Roll on tomorrow!!!

I didn't see it earlier but I'm watching the repeat at the moment.

Here's some screenshots from Tuesday's BBC3 show.

Malachi Cush was in the studio, by the way.

I was watching the live stream in the Academy after last night's show, and Kwame, Will and Ruby were getting a fantastic massage session. It was almost hypnotic to watch.

All I can say is I WANT ONE! They looked to be in absolutely heaven. Lucky, lucky people.

They should all be raring to go tonight now!!

P.S. I'm with Janette . . . . . Go Will!

The repeat is shown somewhere around 12 TO 12 AM on BB3.

Lemar was there last night and I've just heard Cary Grant saying to Ruby that Will and Kwame are better than last year Fame Academy students exepect for Lemar and both would get record contracts if they wanted them, their that good

Their's each singing 2 songs tonight One they have done before and a new one, then the last two after the vote will sing one more song

I'm not sure which yet, as I have heard mostly Ruby today singing Leader of the Pack over and over and Help

Will, I've heard singing Up Town Girl

Ruby very sure she is going tonight

Just to make you feel jealous Kaz - when I go to my health spa week-end I shall definitely be booking up for the massage - maybe I'll get a PC lookalike

To be serious I am enjoying the celebrity Fame Academy much more than the real one. I got bored with that.

I really really want Ruby to win but I think Kwame will. If Ruby doesnt win I want Will too

It was sooo nail biting last night though, I was sure Ruby was going, shows how much confidence I have in her lol

No fight with you lot for Will on this one.

Nope, not my bag man. I don't like the eyebrow thing, makes him look a bit rough IMHO. (How fuddy duddy am I? I know)

He was on the Saturday Show with Helen when she was promoting her dance vidoe wasn't he?

This was my five penny worth. Hope you all agree...........

I am concerned that that the BBC are not capitalizing on all the hard work that has gone into Fame Academy. Having bitten the bullet and recognised the growing market in reality TV and successfully beaten the competition at their own game, it would be a crying shame if Celebrity Fame Academy doesn't trigger a second season of a program which is in its infancy. May I point out a parallel? When Big Brother's first series was screened it was an experiment. It was the second series that was by most commentators’ judgement the most successful and the one which brought such a strong fan base.
The obvious success of the current Red Nose Fame Academy underlines the strength of the format. I personally hate wasted resources and if the BBC does not realize the dividend due to them I will feel cheated of one of the best bits of television I have enjoyed to date.
As an aside, has anyone considered that far from writing the Academy off as just another reality program it has the potential of breaking yet more new ground. If one expands the concept why not run it as a form of ongoing "soap", (my apologies for the term)? In other words, since watching people striving to learn and be rewarded with success is clearly addictive, why not run Fame Academy as a 52 week live steaming experiment in further education? Given the withdrawal symptoms viewers exhibit when Fame Academy and similar genre finish, there has to be a huge market for a real life "Fame".

Regards real name (Splodge0)

The Trueman Show is a film about a man who has unknowingly been the star of a 'soap' since birth. It is quite a good film really. Not quite the same 'genre' as your suggestion Splodge, but it put me in mind of it.

I love FA and would love to see another series but am not sure a long term version would have the same chiasirma.

Splodge you are so right. The success of Celebrity FA shows that it has an audience. The problem with the first series was that it was on at the wrong time and people got fed up with the complete biasedness (if there is such a word) of the judges.

I am gob smacked that the public did not save Kwame, and that one one of his fellow students voted for him.

I know it's all for a good cause, but really, he has a voice like golden honey. A true talent.

As for Will, good luck to him, but his 'Don't let the sun go down on me' wasn't even as good as my No 1 son's karaoke version Ask discolady, she's heard it! (Just in case I'm a teensy bit biased)

I am now beginning to suspect there may be some truth in all those accusations which were levelled against the voting public re: discrimination.

Whatever, lots of luck to them all, and lots of pennies to Comic Relief!

It was a fantastic programme tonight - and I do believe that the voting was probably VERY close.

Will was obviously stunned when he won the public vote, bless him.

It was a shame on Kwame, but he seemed to take it just a bit too seriously sometimes. Having said that, if he wants it I'm sure there's a record deal sitting waiting on him. He has a fabulous voice.

Ruby was brilliant, and she did 'sing' her songs tonight. When it came down to the former students' vote, I was sure that she would go through.

Tomorrow night's going to be unmissable viewing . . . . . . . but going on tonight's public vote I think Will might just shade it. On second thoughts - why don't they make it a dead heat!!

NO, blinkinlovely - it was Kwame who went tonight.

Will won the public vote, then all the former students were brought back to vote on who should join him in the final. Ruby won 6-1, with only Will voting for Kwame.

So tomorrow night's final is between Will and Ruby.

Latest news on the final from Ananova:

Quote:
Celebrity Fame Academy finalist Ruby Wax is to team up with Jo Brand for a rendition of Cheeky Girls' Touch My Bum.

The pair will perform as part of the show's grand finale tonight, which sees Ruby and Will Mellor go head-to-head.

Ruby will be singing Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne, while Will is planning a rendition of Elton John's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

The final takes place as part of BBC1's Comic Relief at 8.45pm.
Ruby and Jo as the Cheeky Girls!

That's got to be worth a few quid!
