nortons allows you to subscribe to a 12 monthly subscription.
To do this it must be a recent nortons..so nortons antivirus 2004 for example cannot be updated..if its a recent version of nortons go to the live update subscription page and you can pay to update it online. You can still use nortons now and your protected but because you cannot update your vulnerable to any new viruses. Personally i would just download the free version of AVG its pretty effective and has free updates forever  .
