He broke a security guy's leg driving at 1mph. Could his life get any worse? LOL.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/spo...cle7065588.ece John Terry has been breathalysed and questioned by police after his car collided with a member of Chelsea's security staff outside Stamford Bridge last night, leaving the man with a broken leg. The incident occurred on a night of frustration for Chelsea after they were knocked out of the Champions League by Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan. Terry remained on the pitch at the end of the match to vent his fury at officials after 90 minutes in which the big decisions went Inter's way and Didier Drogba was sent off. The collision happened as Terry attempted to manoeuvre his car through the crowds at the end of the match. Terry was surrounded by photographers, leaving him at a standstill and although the security team eventually managed to clear a path, the Chelsea captain made contact with the security guard as he drove away. Terry, who was not aware of the incident at the time, was later questioned by police at his Surrey home, where he volunteered to have a breath test. Police were called at 2313 on Tuesday, March 16 to Stamford Bridge to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian," a statement read. "A 35-year-old man suffering a broken leg was taken by ambulance to a west London hospital where he is in a stable condition. The 4x4 car did not stop at the scene. Enquiries into the incident continue." Chelsea confirmed Terry had co-operated with the police investigations. "We can confirm there was an unfortunate accident as John Terry left Stamford Bridge last night," a statement read. "When driving out of the stadium at approximately 1-2mph in a queue of traffic exiting the ground, his car was surrounded by photographers and fans. "In the melee that ensued a member of Chelsea's security staff was knocked to the ground, making contact with the car. He suffered a badly bruised leg. John was aware at the time that there was a lot of contact with his car during the incident, but not that anyone was injured as a result. "Upon hearing of the injury, John spoke to the police. He has also been in contact with the staff member to check on his welfare." Last month, Fabio Capello stripped Terry of the England captaincy after revelations that he had an affair with the ex-girlfriend of Wayne Bridge, his former Chelsea team-mate.
