Though the immigration policies are a bit worrying to me. And their civil rights record. I'm confused again after watching the debate last night.

I can see why everyone finds the Lib Dems appealing - they're an alternative to the current two. But they always have been - and it's very easy to appear 'different' if different is all you've ever been - and all you've ever been for a reason. They're flimsy, their policies are concrete but banal. However, Cameron irks me. And some of the Tory policies [particularly immigration and civil rights] also disagree with me. I think I'll have to base my decision on...*shudder*...LOCAL ISSUES

Labour.
I can't stand Cameron and if they get in power, I'm scared that they'll shut everything down, again. I like Gordon Brown and I actually think he's trying to do something about the problems in today's economy and other issues. Also, Nick Clegg is talking sense on the Leaders' Debate, but the Lib Dems and Conservatives in power will be a slap in the face. |

I know Nick Clegg is boring and looks like some PC World employee, but the alternative is much worse.

Brown was foisted on the public as an UNELECTED Prime Minister, having ballsed up the economy whilst Chancellor of Exchequer. If the Labour Party had any integrity whatsoever there would have been an immediate general election when Blair resigned, instead of lumbering us with that jackass. I note you are Scottish - would that be why you are so keen to see him back in power, considering the amount of handouts we English have to send north of the border without any reciprocation?

Cleggy did well, I really want to vote for him but am too scared of Cameron getting in to do it! Cameron appeared the slimy greasy tosser he is! no substance whatsoever and no comeback RE: tax breaks for millionaires, loved Clegg sticking the knife in there! He also raised a good point about the trident missile programme! Why the **** are we spending on that when money is needed for public services and decent wages and equipment for our troops!? good stuff

Got my card in the post yesterday, my first year as a voter!
When I was younger I always thought that I'd vote for Plaid Cymru but they have no chance. So Labour for me.. the Conservatives will ruin this country, look at what they've done in the past! I just don't trust them one bit. David Cameron comes across as a total twat and I know Gordan Brown isn't perfect but at least he doesn't sugar-coat.. I'd prefer him to keep this country going than any sly Tory.

I will vote Liberal.
I personally believe in their policies and I think Nick Clegg is an amazing leader. Did you watch the debate? I thought he was amazing! David Cameron however.... not my cup of tea! |

Yeah I watched the debate - talk about style over substance. Clegg has done a great job of covering up his upper class etonian credentials and pretending to be down with the peasants. Considering he and members of his party were the biggest offenders in the expenses fiasco, he is hardly in a position to take any sort of moral high ground.
