Three kids from the USA decided to pay tribute to the impact a film called Raiders of the Lost Ark had on them by producing their own version of the Spielberg classic, with only a rented VHS camera, their friends, pocket money, imagination and a quite extraordinary passion to aid them. It took over seven years to complete, and while it looks slightly shoddy by contemporary standards - don't forget, we're talking the 80's here - I'm just blown away by the amount of work they obviously put into the whole enterprise.
I mean, they were children with no knowledge of cinematic techniques and yet judging from this 10 minute snippet you'd think that they were well used to filmmaking, albeit on a very modest scale. Now I'm just hoping to get my hands on the entire version. Yeah, I'm a geek too!
How the feck did they do the boulder at the end?
