In 1997 when Blair came to power the very first selfish, spiteful action by New Labour was to immediately withdraw the Assisted Places Scheme which had enabled children from poor families to gain fully paid places at private schools. This, as always, is a prime example of New Labour's mantra "DO WHAT I SAY, NOT WHAT I DO".
Labour MPs love their peerages (yet loudly disclaim privilege and class), they love their properties and wealth (yet loudly disclaim capitalism), and they love private health care and private schools for their own (whilst loudly disclaiming inequality of opportunity).
Harriet Harman is a typical spiteful, arrogant, HYPOCRITICAL Labour MP.
