I think normally the late night newsreaders are rather new. That is how they gain experiences while less viewers.
(I remember the night the Princess Diana died, I was watching sky news. When the news of her accident was announced just after midnight, it was a very young unknown newsreader but as soon as the news was getting serious, he was replaced by experienced, normally we saw him in a day time, I thought it was Martin Stanford.) |
