Taken from Channel 4's Official BB Site :
http://www.channel4.com/entertainmen...tory_0048.html "Only around six weeks to go" I know that quote has the magic word "around" but I've done a rough calculation and BB4 could start as early as Friday, 16 May!!!!!! |

Thanks for that, Di.
BB have started playing the guessing games with us already, I fear. Will it be earlier in May, or will it be later in June . . . . . . . . . THEY decide! Personally, I hope it's later because I'll be on holiday from the 28th June for 3 weeks - so I'd be back in plenty time to catch up on all the taped highlights before it's time for the final vote. |

You should be OK, Di - planned your hols much better than I did!
The second 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' starts on 5th May for 2 weeks, so you'll probably miss that. However, I can't see BB4 being scheduled at the same time as this, so I think it would be safe to say that it won't start before 20th May at the very earliest. |

I'll be sad to miss IACGMOOH - I enjoyed the last one. Nevermind.
Hubby and I made sure we played safe when booking our hols this year! He knew he'd never hear the last of it if we missed any BB!! |

You'll love Rhodes Princess, I went there in my younger days. Check out the great little town of Lindos when your there it's a great little village to chill out in when the night life of falaraki becomes to much. Lindos is really great! beaches are excellent and there are some great tavernas! and bars! wish I was going again.

Hubby and I have never been before. Going to Playa Blanca which we understand is one of the quieter resorts (too old now for clubbing etc!!). Is this where you have stayed, Boris? Any info would be much appreciated. |

For some reason, we didn't book a holiday this year. I saw all of BB1, because I didn't go on holiday. I went on holiday when BB2 was on, and my sister said she would tape it, but she missed Elizabeth, Helen and Brian's evictions (most of the finale basically).
However, the worst was when I went to Spain last year, towards the end of BB3. I didn't go on a package holiday, so there weren't any English tourists to tell me who won it. The papers came out a day after us, and for some strange reason, they never said who won it. It was a nightmare. I had visions of Alex winning, but he didn't thankgod! |

Never been to Lanzarote . . . . . . one day!
We're doing exactly the same as last year - taking the caravan across the Channel to the Bordeaux region of France, then crossing through the Pyrenees into northern Spain for a week, then retracing our steps back through France and home! One MAJOR difference from last year - we've acquired a spare Sky dish and, all going well, I should be able to watch BB4 while I'm away (if we can pick up the satellite signal, that is. Fingers crossed! ) |

Play Blanca is the resort we have stayed in 3 times now. I would go every year but A - we can't afford to B - Mr. Boris likes a change. We have enjoyed all of our visits.I also had a 1 day visit when staying on Fuertoventura with my daughter on a 'Mother and daughter bonding holiday!'We enjoyed it very much, which is why I took Mr. Boris there the year after. Playa Blanca is lovely. Our last visit 2 years ago saw it more devloped, more hotels and the public areas tidied up.The 'promenade' had been extended which made walking along the coast very pleasant. (Mr.Boris and I like walking) There are strict restrictions on building heights and everything is decorated to agreed colours of blue, green and brown on whilte buildings. SOme parts are 'nicer' than others but as it is small there is always an excape route, but 2 years ago we didn't actually feel the need to escape from any of the parts we visited. Tourist atractions worth a visit are the volcanic national park (it is like visiting a lunar landscape - amazing ) If you have a cultural bent the 'Ceasar Manrique Foundation' - a combination of a small art gallery and the artisit's own home built inside a lava bubble - totally unique. And finally a cafe/night club...not the boogying sort.....at the north of the island called 'Jameos Del Aguia'( not sure of the spelling) built around an underground lake. Just writing about them all makes we want to visit again. Hope you have a WONDERFUL time. |

Boris, thanks for your U2U message and the above info.
Oh it all sounds fantastic and just what hubby and I are looking for in a holiday. We like resorts with promenades - to have a wander along to let your dinner go down and watch the sun go down! You make it sound as if we've picked the right resort. We can't wait - only a few more weeks to go. Thanks once again, Boris |
