I think a big thing about Stacey is her personality, sure Leona, Beyonce and Mariah all have great voices too, but they are a bit bland compared to her, you might want to argue that she is just 'demented', but in probably the majority of peoples' eyes shes just bubbly and fun and enduring to watch. She would be great to have on some of these interview shows.

Her talent is her voice + able to entertain people because of her personality, she might not be able to write or play [that we know of], but so dont many? And Olly has a weak voice and just does cheesy dancing, cant see how you can class him better than her.

And sure, those 3 examples you gave are awful, but there's also a shedload of talented acts that nobody bothers to go looking for, because, they're blind to anything that's not on The X Factor or Radio 1.

Lots of people have great personality, but it doesn't entitle them to pick whatever career they want. All the personality in the world won't do you squat if you want to be a painter but you can't paint for shit.
