Casillas claims England lack 'top level' goalkeepers
Spain captain Iker Casillas believes England's goalkeepers could cost them dearly in the World Cup. La Rioja's number one has pinpointed England's goalkeeping trio as their biggest weaknesses due to their lack of big match experience. "Their goalkeeping situation is a real problem," said Casillas. "None of the keepers have played in the Champions League and if you have never played at the top club level in the world, you are going to find it hard to perform at the top international level when even more eyes are on you." Is he right? In the paper yesterday it showed what was considered the best 3 keepers in the world cup. Casilias(spain), Buffon(italy) and Ceaser(brazil). They all have domestic and european prizes and cups. They all play in european competition every year. Our 3 keepers, not one of them has even played in the europa league, let alone the champions league against the biggest and best players in the world. This is why Joe Hart should be at Arsenal

Yeah, I'd say he's right. Put into context, Casillas played for a team that finished second in La Liga last year. Our most likely first choice, David James, played for a team that finished bottom of the Premier League.

Its a lot to do with playing in european competition to, there is a big step up champions league is the hardest competition at club level.. like the world cup is at international level, he believes that without playing in champions league how can you play world cup when its even harder.
Our keepers are not the best im trying to have faith, ive seen green and hart be great in the last year. Birmingham finished like 9th.. with joe hart i think hes the best choice. If he was playing champions league football with one of the top 4 though, he would be one of the greats, but hes not given a chance at man city.
