On the BBC website there is a discussion topic named 'What has Big Brother taught us' and the 99% of the comments are all negative and filled with people who are slagging BB and try to blame it for every social problem in the UK (Including terorism!!) I find it both pathetic to comment on something you dont watch (even thought most of them will, they are commenting on an internet site FFS they dont exactly live cultured lives themselves most of them!) and I find it annoying because at the end of the day it is just an effing tv show!!! and this one BB user left this comment and I praise him/her for it...........

"I just think that it is an entertainment programme and we should all just accept it as that, It is no different than 'The X Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent' and yet I hear no complaining about those shows 'ruining society'. I think that all the people who claim it dumbs people down and is everything bad about society are being totally melodramatic, It is a show where people go into a house and compete in tasks and try to avoid being evicted by the viewing public, it is simply a game show and nothing else, I have watched some Big Brother series in the past and I can honestly say that I enjoyed most of what I saw. All the people on this website who label it 'drivel' have most likely never seen it and therefore have no right to comment on the show, and can also guarantee that half the people leaving negative comments watch the show but are leaving these comments as a quite sad attempt to sound intelligent becuase for some reason people see Big Brother as a show dumb people watch, well it is not, it is just an entertainment show similar to any other reality show. People who dont like the show should not bother commenting on it at all rather than take time out of their lives to do so."
