I can dislike the forum rules and still post. I made a respectful suggestion that it should be changed. Should be all just follow every rule, without question. OBEY? I am suggesting a CHANGE to the rules, which is, in very basic terms, so you willl understand, a liberal viewpoint. Therefore to suggest I join the party I suggested, shows your intelligence level to be extremely low on two accounts.
Firstly, you could not think of an insult yourself, and secondly, you could not even understand the insult.
How unintelligent and limited your mind is to just say....follow the forum rules or you should leave.
Most of the rules I agree with, but when someone here was told off for using capitals, and I was directed to a rule, I think this is ridiculous. There is no place for a stringent, ridiculous rule like this. Rules need to have some basis before they can be adhered to.

We have a no all-capitals rule for two reasons:

1. It is more difficult to read. Compare a block of normally written text and a block of upper-case text and you will find that the upper-case text takes longer to read.

This is because upper-case characters are all the same height while lower-case characters vary in height and are more instantly recognisable.

2. All upper-case text can give the impression to the reader that he or she is being shouted at.

Of course it is acceptable to put the odd-word in upper-case for emphasis, just not the whole text.

The fact that liberal societies still have rules (i.e. laws) that everyone has to abide does not stop them being liberal. Believe me I have seen forums that are completely un-regulated and the result is nearly always anarchy.

The most important rule on this discussion board, however, is the one which says we have to respect each others opinions even though we might disagree with them. So no calling each other 'fools' or 'idiots' please.
