Default Howard Webb World cup Final?

In the slim (And i mean SLIM) possibility England dont make the final.

Would you be happy with Howard Webb (englands ref for the world cup) if he was chosen as the world cup final ref?

The 2 games he has reffed (one currently playing) he has been superb, All the other refs seem inexperienced and very card happy.

Would you be happy with him reffing the final?

I don't like the guy but he's done very well so far in the WC so yeah I'd be happy for him.

I would be happy. Hes far better than most of the other clowns who completely over overreact and wave cards about for fun.

Agreed

all these refs showing cards look really arrogant as they show cards waving them about he just shows them.

Like that ref who sent off the wrong Algerian player. That's plain incompetence. IMO

The offside against Italy wasn't his fault and apart from that he's been excellent. Would have no problem with him in the final.

I thought the referee for every game had to be from a country that isn't one of the two playing? (not that England will get that far but still)

Yes definitely. He would not be fooled by the divers and ruin the biggest game on the planet.

Glad he's got it - I think he's by far the best choice. At least with him there won't be none of this over reacting like pretty much all the other refs at the world cup.
