Default Glyn bullied by team plastic?

Looked back for a thread on this and couldn't find one. I really felt for Glyn when doing the waiting game he was bullied into giving up by Grace & Mikey & Lisa. His reasons for quitting where pathetic thinking it could be another meal after that was pretty unlikely after they were all discussing it was imunity.

Now I think Glyn is a very good gameplayer, he said in the Dr he would have to make susie tea and coffee to make sure she didnt nominate him. Then he got invited for dinner so was him leaving the box task tactical by scoring points with Lisa, Mikey and Grace?

He is seen as the baby of the group yet scored the highest on the IQ tests so he is a smart lad, he is open to the public he is playing the game but not much has been said about it because he in my eyes is doing the game in the correct way....being nice and happy playing the young lad who cant cook, takes a back seat and watches what goes on with all the housemates and still is the only housemate in my eyes who gets on with both groups equally. People do not see him as a threat because he seems very naive and young but I think he is really clever and tactical.

Obviously he didn't really think it was a dinner. He had to give a reason, and couldn't admit that he knew about Susie's nomination status, so that was the best reason to give.

No-one bullied Glyn, they all simply spoke honestly, and he knew he could stay and not be thought the less of. Grace was very grateful and sweet the way she thanked him afterwards.

yer it did seem like he was getting bullied but then again he was only going to wait up there if it was a message from his family, but everyone knew that it had something to do with nominations, and that gyln would not have been picked by suzie.

Grace should have kept her mouth shut about her getting booed and she wants to be ammune though

I wouldn't say he was pressured into giving up.

I think he lasted as long because he thought it might be a message from his family, but after talking with the other 3, he realised that it was most likely immunity and thereby of no use to him. I also think the girls were very gracious and grateful to him for doing it. He has scored some major brownie points by doing that.

Glyn is no fool. He might not be very streetwise, but he knows what he is doing in the house.

Glyn certainly does know what he's doing, and he's proven to be intelligent. Although it may seem he was bullied into it, to be honest everyone was just playing the game. Grace had the idea early on that whoever stayed the longest would be immune from eviction. So the fact that Glyn stepped down was in fact inevitable because we all know Suzie wouldn't have nominated him anyway, and so him being immune from eviction would hardly have been interesting. And now he's looked upon as extremely respectable, so all in all what he did was most useful to him in the end.

It was quite interesting though that Lisa and Grace were the two left, because I had a gut feeling Suzie would nominate those two. Either one of them being immune would've meant Nikki would be nominated as I don't think Suzie has bonded with her either.

All in all Glyn's done well for himself!

So what if he was bullied off? He didn't deserve it anyway.

It is basically 100% that he would never be put up and even if he was it is 100% he wont go. That whole task for made for Grace and she should have won it. I hate Lisa for this.

Grace was only telling him to stay on superficially. She blatantly was using psychological tacti'tcs (granted in a limited way, but still true), to try and get all the others to step down. She is so insincere the way she says 'babe, look I'm cool', when she blatantly isn't. Everyone knows she isn't ok with it, but caves in to her.
I watched carefully and she bullied Glyn by making him feel guilty as she was so victimised by the public and just wanted to be immune. She knew he was susceptible to her sob story and would be sucked in.
This is also a form of bullying at its lowest.
Grace is a truly dreadful individual who showed how spoilt she was.

Remember her audition tape about how her mum brought a house for her?? She is still using mind games to get her own way and that is why the public hate her. She is a deluded, spoilt little brat who picks on others and looks down her ugly pigs trotter nose at those she deems less worthy than her. The mere fact she is unaware of this further disgraces her in the eyes of the public.

Vile, vile individual.

That is not bullying
People are throwing the word 'bully' around WAY to much on this forum
I think its sick. They obviously have no idea what real bullying is, and have never experienced it.

Chrizzle, if you someone into feeling dejected and guilty, so that they give in to your demands, that is psychological manipulation and this IS classed as bullying in my book.
Bullying does not need to be a DIRCECT attack on someone else, it can be done through INDIRECT means.
In isolation, Grace's comments could have just been 'playing the victim', but, given her general psychological make up and behaviour in the house, her behaviour here is tantamount to bullying.

Your comment that people 'have never experienced it (bullying)' is, again, an unintelligent statement, and boarders on offensive for those that HAVE been bullied and are expressing their viewpoint. You make the constant mistake of making frivolous assumptions based on peoples' opinions.

(BTW...if you and me were in the BB house, I would NOMINATE you!! I'm sure you would me also.)

Actually, I wouldnt nominate you
Because I respect that you feel so much for your views
I would nominate the boring people out
I can see you as being someone entertaining.

I just dont see it as bullying.
Because in my eyes bullying is a direct attack.
If its done any way else, I see that as backstabbing.

But there is a fine line between backstabbing and bullying.

However, you have a point...I can see where you are coming from.

I think that Glynn was manipulated but not bullied - I agree with a previous poster that Bullying is thrown around far to much these days! he isnt a green as he is cabbage looking that lad, he is playing a great game and is firmly in both camps!

I think that Glyn stepped down because he wanted to be seen as a gentleman. Unlike Grace, Glyn was seeing how the public would perceive his generosity by stepping down where as Grace was very narrow-minded and just wanted to avoid nomination.

'Bullying' definition in the dictionary.com is ' aperson who is overbearing...especially to smaller or weaker people.' This is a wide definition. Grace's behaviour can certainly be interpreted within this sphere.

Also in dictionary.com 'to treat in an overbearing or INTIMIDATING manner.' Grace does this constantly.
