It's possible he's a mole, but to act with a different personality/attitude/accent 24/7 for months takes crazy endurance/acting skill I just don't see Ben being capable of. It would be a beautiful con, but it seems like a stretch.

The point is that the Ben you think you know maybe isnt Ben at all... who knows what he is capable of

As for maintaining the act... well, going 'undercover' wouldnt be that hard. He isnt faking his accent, and the personality would only be an exaggeration, not a creation, so easy to keep up.

All he would really be doing is constantly playing dumb (which people do all the time) and following BBs directions. Easy really?

Not at all. Try doing it for an hour, you'll have a headache. I don't think he's capable.

I know people that exaggerate their real personalities all their lives

Even with these aside though, there are many many cases of people living undercover, in far more invented personalities, then what Ben would have been doing for just a month.

Living undercover and exaggerating in public are easy, everyone does it to an extent...this is constant social contact close to 24/7. It's exhausting, and Ben's type of personality would be difficult to fake that long, it's very specific. I'm not saying it's impossible, just highly improbable.

The idea is very intriguing... I was watching this in bed last night and while I am not convinced or anything, some of Ben's reactions and body ticks were strange, as was his obvious move to change the subject. This morning he started talking about it again, reaffirming that he isnt a actor, which maybe could be interpretated as trying too hard to insist he isnt.

I honestly think it would be possible for a housemate to go 'undercover' in there... it's not like he would be having to create a whole personality or anything... he could very much just have been put in there to just bring disharmony and friction to the group, while messing up their tasks.

I think it's exactly the sense of humour of the BB guys to put a real mole in and cover it with a fake mole who wore a sign saying I am a mole! and the last series would be the time they would most do it...

I wonder what his fans would say if he was!

Only, maybe, if 'her minge' is a euphemism for 'Ben'

More seriously though (though not totally seriously obviously...)...

Noticed there wasnt any coverage of the whole 'actor' conversation at ALL in the HL, even though Ben being funny (actually the funniest he has been all series if I am honest) is usually shoe horned into the show no matter what. The whole conversation, from all, was hilarious tbh.

There is a reason for everything they do and don't put in this show... if they don't, and it has obvious entertainment value as this did, it is normally hacked out in order to protect something.

Love the speculation personally...

Once again the HMs are talking about the week 6 secret that is rumoured and how they think there is an actor in there with them.

Week 6...

The HMs are all called together and told to name the real mole in the house (after the original double bluff), with the mole receiving half the prize fund if they fail to pick him out. Whichever HM is named as the mole though, real or not, has to leave the house.

The actor mole is Ben, but they will name Mario?

Possible?

What a bloody ridiculous conspiracy theory. No doubt all those viewers who paid good money to try and get Ben out in the second week would like some proof rather than spiteful conjecture, in order that they can claim their cash back from BB, as well as prosecuting them for obtaining money by deception.

oh calm down, it's just fun speculation based on a conversation the HMs had.

No need to get bent out of shape

oh, btw, if getting evicted had been one of the mole's fail conditions, meaning he indeed would have been removed from the house if the vote had gone against him, then there would be no right to cry foul or for a refund.

There would have been no financial deception.

It would have though explained all the camera time, kind edits, and solo tasks that Ben received for ages, and indeed right after when they started talking about it why he was allowed to melt into the background.
