She's very sensitive about her weight, plus she said herself later on that she's got PMT and overreacted, and at least she said the same to his face as she did when she had a little bitch about him.

It was when he said 'well my wife is a size 14 and she looks slim', she will have taken that as him saying she looks fat, women get all illogical when their hormones are running riot at that time of the month lol.
