Default Question for the working population...

I've been wondering, how long would you get on holiday on average? Because my dad takes a week off and goes back to work O_O. And he's the boss of the company, and they're doing fairly well (as far as I know...) so I'm wondering what everyone else gets?

I don't work full time but if i did then around 5-6 weeks a year.

Is this what you meant or do you mean how much at one time?

No I mean all year round, thanks Mike . It's because he takes 2 days over Christmas, Xmas day and Boxing day, and about 5 days during the holidays (maybe more if we go on a holiday) and then works the rest of the year...

Over the year(I get April-April) I get 5 weekends off a year but we arent allowed off between October-January because its a shop. My mum gets 27 days off throughout the year so basically i only get 5 days off but im only contracted Saturdays so Sundays I can have off as well

I get approx 6 weeks annual leave plus time off between christmas and new year. If he is boss of the company then he is obviously choosing to work and make sure that things keep running smoothly.
