I took her meaning as in John is older and wiser and should know better, Sam on the other hand is just a boy who doesn't know any better.

To be honest it sounded more like she was trying to stop him making himself look bad to the public. Either that or she really does think he is a gentleman. That would not tally with her saying that if her brothers had gone on at Corin like that she would give them what for.
I find Josie a bit confusing at the minute, maybe it is the stress of the impending final.

I must admit, she puzzles me too. I have wondered if she is getting ratty with john because she is fed up with him 'colluding' with Sam .. jelous? .. In any event, I'm liking it, anyone giving John hell gets a few brownie points from me.

John James has been fuming to get at Corin since they had that bust up weeks and weeks ago, he never let it go that he didn't manage to completely bring her down.

Sam is the type of guy that will take a prank as far is he can to finally get people to blow up, and I'm confident John James has spouted his dislike for Corin to Sam and has definitely been encouraging him to get on her and make her crack. By cheering Sam on he is essentially creating a scapegoat for his desire to break her down. Dave and JJ have also been encouraging Sam to a extent.

Sucks Sam will go on Friday, but it might en up being the price to pay to dump John James, I would rather see how Josie gets on for the last days without John James then watch John James for the last days laying the cream on thick on Josie.

I don't like Josie much, but I hope when she finally comes out of the house she remembers what a real man is like.
