What was his reason for nominating pete?

He may be nominating him for two reasons.

1) He's the only thing stopping glyn from winning

or

2) Pete's annoyed him this week somehow.

OR maybe even

3) He couldn't really think of anyone else to nominate so he knew Pete wouldn't be up so throw the vote away. This theory falls down if Pete was his first choice of course.

The choice is yours.

I was surprised he voted fro Pete, but he seems to vote for people who used to be his best friends but stop talking to him. Like Aisleyne and Pete who both stopped hanging around with him.

second one, he knows pete is popular in the house, so he knows that voting him will probably have little or no effect on the nominations.

Why is it so weird that pete got nominated? not everyone can love him.

Pete has been a right misery guts recently. Also he seems to have replaced Glyn with Mikey. That's why he nominated him although it is a big surprise!

You'd be inhuman if you managed to feel "up" and bouyant (sp?) every single day in that house.

Edwin wrote "second one, he knows pete is popular in the house, so he knows that voting him will probably have little or no effect on the nominations"

I think that's the third option not the second one. I'll forgive you this time.

Do not let it happen again! Grrr.

actually, it was more of a case of excluding option number 1. I think pete has annoyed glyn this week, not because he can't be bothered to think of anyone else.. He would have much less reasons if that was the case.

I wonder his reasons for nominating him. Surely he knows Pete would not go anyway so it would be a waste of his vote? And Pete hasnt even annoyed him as far as i know.

To be honest I think he did it after the whole Pete/Aisleyne thing. I could tell he was upset after that: you know, when Aisleyne totally ignored him for Pete. He probably held a grudge or something. What was his reason anyway? Either way though he's entitled to vote for whoever he wants - it's possible Pete annoyed him this week or something. Maybe he was struggling to vote so voted for someone where it wouldn't make a difference. Who knows his reasons, but I still like him as a HM and it shows he really isn't playing a game, he's just going with the flow.

Edwin wrote "actually, it was more of a case of excluding option number 1. I think pete has annoyed glyn this week, not because he can't be bothered to think of anyone else.. He would have much less reasons if that was the case."

Which is fair enough. They were three options that I got from the top of my head. If we knew his reasons, we could decide exactly why he nominated Pete. Unless he was lying about his reasons and we could draw conclusions from that.

Jem-stone16 wrote "I wonder his reasons for nominating him. Surely he knows Pete would not go anyway so it would be a waste of his vote? And Pete hasnt even annoyed him as far as i know. "

Which is exactly what we need to know to be sure. One of the options must be correct.

He is intelligent (in his way) to play the game tactically but he hasn't tried to influence voting by other people so his actual gameplan if he really did want Pete up for the public vote is flawed somewhat.

Until we see footage of his reasons for nominating Pete, if it was first or second choice, I'll say 1.

I don't like the guy personally because I find him too nationalistic and boring.

He's entitled to vote whoever he wants. Perhaps Pete annoyed him this week? Only he knows his reasons. But if anything, it shows he isn't playing a game doesn't it? He must have an idea by now that Pete would be popular! Anyway hopefully he'll clear the air with Pete.

Yeah he does have the right to vote anyone of course he does.

I don't know if Glyn always makes the first move when it comes to "patching" things up with people.

Examples would be good.
