Default She should have sacrificed herself

Aisleyne should have said "I'll go" and let both Spiral and Jonathan join the other House.

It's a win/win situation for everyone though not as good for Aisleyne.
The 2 new people get to go in and Aisleyne becomes a bit of a hero to the public and old housemates alike no matter what they thought about her before.

I've always liked Aisleyne and thought she was pretty honest and straight'i did'nt like the way as soon as they said 10 seconds she gave an answer very quickly after all her hesitating.
Seemed a bit too desperate to get back in.

Just my humble opinion.

When BB said she had 10 seconds to decide she should have said "OR WHAT" that would have been interesting!

She definately would have been kicked no doubt about it.
But BB was desperate for new housemates and would'nt have carried on with the normal eviction and i'm sure both Spiral and Jonathan would have got it.
I think she made a mistake not asking the question though i was suprised and pleased that at least BB made her make a decision and did'nt drag it out .

ok, but all them peeps that dislike her, would they have given her credit for doing so? probs not. BB may not have "allowed" her to anyway, & even if she did leave, BB still might have not put jonathan in there anyway...

Well i think a lot of the people who dislike her would have given her credit. She certainly can't have made things worse??

And i think BB would have sent both Housemates in regardless as they want the numbers.

But we'll never know as she did'nt have the courage to ask?

It wouldn't have achieved much to give up her place for someone else. The evicted housemates are forgotten pretty quickly.

James is right.

Who was the first person to leave the house, the second the first nominated evictee? Sure I bet some peeps could answer it without looking it up, but mainly it's WHO??

The cash prize is 100,000 UK Pounds Sterling, so it's not chicken feed right. She'd be insane to evict herself, even though I wouldn't have made the same choice as her I wouldn't have cut myself out of the CHANCE to win the prize.

You've got to be in it to win it, and as Aisylene doesn't know that Pete is likely to walk away with the prize (now that Jonathon has gone ), she's got to think the longer she stays in the better chance she has.

Can anyone REALLY honestly say they'll evict themselves out of the house and the competition??

Fair points Sidrat.
But most of the Major Housemates and not the wallflowers stand to make probably more than 100k from magazines and TV etc when they come out.
And in the house they have only a 1 in xx (Number keeps changing) of winning it.

But i know what your saying.
I just think that as we all suspect pete's gonna win the Ł100K anyway that Aisleyne would have been a bigger winner probably with the public and financially with the tabloids if she had done something noble and unexpected like that.
Maybe BB would have refused'but she would have made the gesture......

C'mon though, would you give up the chance to win Big Brother? Seriously? Ultimately, it is a game and she'd only known Johnathon for a matter of days, it's not as though they were lifelong friends. It's not really that big a deal because I doubt any of them will dwell on that moment for the rest of their lives.

I don't think that Jonathan and Spiral would've gone in and Aisleyne would've been evicted if Aisleyne didn't make a decision after the 10 second count down, BB would've just waited and put more pressure on her until she finally said one of their names.

...but I certainly don't debate that it was a very nasty situation to be put in.

Exactly. Ifg that was you in that situation would you simply "give up" a chance of winning alot of money. Its like giving a lottery ticet away and fising it was teh winning one!

She wants to win. She wouldn't be there if she didn't want to win.

No matter how much she hated to make the decision, she would be a fool to sacrifice herself.. all the haters would just have said.. "oh how noble.. *smirk smirk*", and continued to hate her. Therefore, she would have achieved nothing.

She had to choose. She chose. End of.

Exactly. People who hated her would find some petty excuse to still hate her. She made her choice so get over it

Don't agree with that. Firstly, it wasn't an option and in the circumstances her mind was probably clouded. Besides, why would you want to give it all up for someone you don't know that well? All right, she liked him, she shed some tears, but that doesn't account for her giving up all she's sacrificed herself - now that would be stupid.

Did you hear her on Last Nights show to Imogen?

"Hand on Heart ' If BB had made me pick between Me'Jonathan or Spiral'i'd have went.!"

Too Late.
You have to be noble before the act and not after.

Big Brother didn't give her the option to evict herself. There's a kind of psychological thing going on also - the housemates believe that Big brother controls their lives in the house and they have to do everything BB says.
