Saddam deserved to be treated like Milosevich or Charles Taylor. He should have been tried in the Hague for genocide. That way the truth of Halabja might have been adduced. Instead he was tried in a kangaroo court for murdering 43 Shiah muslims, killed after the uprising in the south in support of the US invasion of 1991. The truth was buried with him.

I don't like Blair. He took credit for the peace process and side lined Mo, who, it has to be said, achieved the impossible and got both sides agreeing on the same issues!
He lied, he is condecending, and the one thing I would never ever forgive him for, is allowing that Pratt Bush to treat him like a servant. Blair needed balls, but the only people he stood up to where those in his own country. He wanted to go down in history as a peace keeper, he failed that didn't he.
