Default Why don't channel 4 put the lot up on the net

Being able to to see everything again from the beginning would be amazing. Some of you might disagree, others might agree. At one point I remember back at the start they re-ran series one late at night. That would be just as good.

It would take up a heck of a lot server space but it could be done! Hey they could do it one series at a time.

Cheers

Lard

I contacted Channel 4 about having some of the progs on 4oD as it would be really interesting to see how some of the relationships developed very very early. Couldn't be done, something to do with the rights of the show. That why they are only on 4oD for 30 days. Great shame in my eyes.

That's sad if the rights mean we will never get to see them ever again. There certainly wasn't any rights when they want to show the same famous clips over and over again.

Hopefully some uber fan would have the entire thing on video and some how it will make its way onto the internet.

hey jed i don't think they would release it entire thing on dvd because it would make a loss. Although there is millions of fans not everyone one would buy them. But that would be my dream

Because it would cost too much to produce (Packaging etc).

Surely there would be something in pipeline perhaps? there is plenty of revenue available from putting the stuff somewhere online or even TV. There must be a way. I know the episode count is much larger than say something like top gear but that has been licensed successfully. A small channel could really benefit from re- runs, and the license fee would quickly be recouped through advertising. Another example being friends, just played on a loop.

I've lost, LOST and BB in one foul swoop. Wonder what will be next to capture the nation.

(i know some people might not like lost, that's cool )

Xfactor is good at times but that won't fill the void. I enjoy im a celeb but still doesn't fill the whole. But when u really don't have anything to do but watch tv its always great to know that there is that thing that you really enjoy.

I'm sure I remember someone saying that all the episodes would be made 'live', i.e uploaded to the internet...

Endemol also never set up any BB videos from the german seasons, and they hunted down almost everyone who had Videos on Youtube (Had almost 2000 BB videos there myself at times, but they removed them all and closed my channel)

I doubt they will show off the stuff they have one day
