We see how messi plays and how hard he is to stop, the best ive seen is Chelsea, Having Ashley cole on him, and then essien always coming back and messi was isolated.
But, in the premier league.. Would the Bolton Blackburn Stoke Wolves Just kick him? and injure him/ stop him from moving forward? Would it work? Works against some of the best players sometimes, and Messi isnt the strongest player... Seeing players like Robinson (bolton) Samba (blackburn) Henry (wolves) would they just completely out muscle and tackle really hard?

Messi doesn't have it all his way in La Liga. Yes most games (especially at home) he's dribbling like Garrincha through them all but some smaller clubs in the league have stopped him.
I do believe you're right though. The premier league smaller clubs would try to hobble him to keep him in check. It depends on the ref too because sometimes Messi has gone down when he hasn't even been touched. |
