Well, if you put 2 on City to win, you'll get your 2 back and another 5, so you'll get 7 back.

If you put 1 on a draw you'll get the 1 back plus 2.30 so 3.30.

And if you put 1 on Chelsea you'll get your 1 back plus 1.10 so 2.20.

But you know you can check what you'll get on your betslip on Paddy power, right? It'll show you how much you'll win, but you can x the bet off if it doesn't float your boat.

Easy enough to get used to it after awhile.

And that's why Arsenal to win is so stingy for your money cuz the bookies know they'll win. So it's 1/5 on paddy power and the 5 is your bet. So if you put 5 on it, you'll get your five back plus the one on the other side... so 6 back. If you only put 1 on you'll get your one back plus a fifth of a pound, which is 20 pence, so 1.20. God, I'm making this look more difficult than it is, sorry!

That was much easier to for me than the first time you said it lol.

put 15 on each.. thats minimum of 15 pound back.. lol..

That's basically the way to look at it though... the ratio. If the first number is a fair bit bigger than the second, you know the odds are big and the bookies don't think it'll happen and when it's the other way round they think it's not going to happen too often.

It doesn't really matter though if you bet big, like Claymores does. He throws alot of cash on even the stingiest odds if he knows it's a sure thing, that way he wins something nearly all the time.

Ben you should just put it on Handicaps... Like when Chelsea play west brom you know that they're gonna win by at least 2 goals, so instead of just putting Chelsea to win you should do them on a -1 handicap (which means starting a goal down) and you'll make more

Yeah if you do it on -1 then they need to win by 2.

An with arsenal an west brom on saturday, you'll get around 20p back for every pound you put on just for arsenal to win, or if you do it on -1 you'll get about 57p back for every pound you put on

I do the bets where you just go Chelsea to win and 3 to 4 goals to be scored. They're fairly good odds too.

Over 2.5 goals is usually what I win most on, won quite a bit on handicaps the other week though when the champions and europa league were on

It has to be just 3 or 4 goals... that's why the odds are so good. David's one is probably better though, but I'd say the odds wouldn't be as good.

I lie, no. There's a fair difference. I was just looking at Chelsea's odds but sure they're favs. But yeah, much better chance of yours happening than mine.
