Bit harsh. As has been said it's a hell of a leap up to the PL and maybe he isn't good enough but he hasn't even played a full 90mins yet and needs to be given support and time to find his feet before people start writing him off. As I've said previously it doesn't help that he's been thrown in the deep end as sole striker because Moyes won't play 4-4-2 and has had little to no service from the midfield. Lets just see what happens eh?

Yeah I love the all blue as well, looks well smart

That bloody pink kit is the reason our season has started so ****e I swear (even though I bought it lol) the third kit is bloody lovely (should be our away kit imo) but when we're gonna even get chance to wear it I don't know!

Same old story for us yeah lol, last season we had an excuse, because we were crippled by injuries and the Lescott saga, if the season had started at Christmas then we would have finished 3rd I think

Some Everton fans are saying that's it now and we'll be fighting relegation come the end of the season, I'm keeping the faith that we'll pull ourselves out of it, we're not playing badly at all, just missing a prolific striker but we have other players who can score goals, we'll be alright

Not really Houllier is a fan of his though isn't he so maybe the manager having faith in him and if he can win the fans over he might come good after all.

And West Brom even missed a penalty, after an Almunia foul. The second was very bad, and the third he was all at sea. Not since Gary Sprake and David Harvey has a top team such poor keepers.

Well done, you managed to win at home against a team with ten men who are probably going to be fighting relegation. Fantastic achievement that.

Blackpool, Wigan and West Ham.

Good victory from Man City today but Chelsea are still going to win the league at a canter. Very poor from Arsenal, losing at home to newly promoted West Brom, who have made a fantastic start and look like they can finally stay in the Premiership. Liverpool struggled at home to Sunderland and apparently Sunderland were much the better team and Liverpool were fortunate to get draw. Tottenham lost again. Last season's 4th place finish is looking even more like a fluke by the day. Blackpool lost the Lancashire derby at home to Blackburn with Blackburn getting a last minute winner. Fulham kept their unbeaten record going with a bore 0-0 draw with Everton.

In the Championship, Preston finally ended their away day blues and beat the sky blues, Coventry 2-1 at the Ricoh Arena. Portsmouth somehow beat Leicester 6-1 at Fratton Park on Friday but I expect Leicester to get out of trouble. I expect Preston, Scunthorpe, Barnsley, Millwall and Portsmouth to be the teams fighting to stay in the league.

In Germany, Bayern Munich lost at home to newly promoted Mainz. And to continue the shock results between newly promoted teams and European heavyweights, Levante held Real Madrid to a 0-0 draw.

I see you're talking bullshine again sonny boy. They got a good squad at this level and I expect them to finish around midtable, they've been quite unlucky and they played very well. I actually watch my team play every week pal so before you start spouting a load of crap like you usually do, I know more about us than you do, glory supporting wanker.

Why the hell were there Cardiff fans in Swindon? Was this from like pre-season last season or something?

Can't understand how our Jay has gone unnoticed though as he's twice as good as Beckford :3

Not that I'm complaining, Jay won't go then
