EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed that she has been glad to revisit the "bubbly" side of her character Stacey Branning in recent weeks.

Speaking to Inside Soap, the actress confessed that she has noticed a change in her alter ego's attitude since Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) returned to the Square last month.

Turner explained: "I've missed the old Stacey. I've been so lucky with my storylines, but it can get a bit tedious if I have to cry every day.

"Having Kat back has injected a bit of life into Stacey, so it's nice to be playing a bubbly girl again."

Meanwhile, in a separate interview with the magazine, EastEnders' executive producer Bryan Kirkwood hinted that Stacey will share many more scenes with Kat before she bows out of the soap.

Kirkwood said: "Kat helps Stacey reclaim some of the spirit that she's lost over the years. We see a return to their appetite for mischief."

Bianca and Tiffany plus Kat/Kim were funny tonight, loving the mix between the drama and lighter scenes

Poor Carol, I know she could be tough at times but nothing she said or done to Billie warranted him saying that to his mum.

And it's Billie who ends up dying, Karma is a bitch lol.

LOL at Tiffany last night

Patsy is just going on maternity leave, its already confirmed she is coming back. I read that they had to come up with a reason for her to leave her kids and it all came down to one option.

Im thinking bianca would only leave her kids if forced, ie Prison. Because they cant kill her off when she is returning and why else would she leave her kids.

OMG!

Grief-stricken Carol Jackson makes another decision that she may live to regret in EastEnders later this month as she seeks comfort in the arms of Billie's friend Connor.

After enduring the heartbreaking day of Billie's cremation, Carol returns home and seems to be on the verge of a breakdown as she sits alone and sheds more silent tears.

However, there's more drama in store for the troubled mum when Connor bursts through the door and angrily confronts her over banning him from the funeral.

Carol is in no mood to argue and stays calm in the face of Connor's provocation. Instead, she reminisces over the time that Connor and Billie spent growing up together and tells her visitor what a cute kid he used to be.

When Connor relents and gives Carol a comforting kiss, the gesture leads to them heading to bed together…
