Arista, get out.

It's given my mom something to do though, She's been gossiping all day

I think it was just a Halloween prank, we often get some....people running around in masks scaring others, I've just never known one to do it in people's gardens. It couldn't be a thief really, the mask made him stand out in the dark.

Your conservatory/back garden sounds like mine - horror film glass windows; lights that come on if anything moves in the garden; tall trees making it really shadowy... I would absolutely be in therapy if that happened to me, omg :|

Exactly like that. I hate it.

I was fine after a while though, he didn't come back and unlike some other things that happen around here it could be explained so....But still this house must attract weird happenings.

I reckon it was someone doing garden runs.. we used to do that ... where you start at one end, and run down a whole block.. through the back gardens.. over fences etc. You either do it in a group, or you get timed.. to see who's quickest.. We always did it late.. in the dark.. cuz that way you can't see obstacles..

I wonder what the people would have thought if they'd looked out their windows when we were doing that. One time my mate got caught on a washing line right at his neck. We just scaled the fence, and he was running along and just hit the deck. I couldn't help him for laughing. If anyone had looked out, they'd have seen him lying lifeless on the lawn.

edit to add: We never wore masks, but we didn't do it near halloween... we might have worn them if we did. We did wear hats/scarves though, so we wouldn't get recognised.

Yeah it was a Halloween thing I think, I doubt he'll be doing it again though, my mom's essentially rung everyone she knows. Everyone's on the lookout for him now. Horrific mask though, kinda glad he didn't do it when kids could have seen him.

Was probably a kid. Some of the kids around here are almost 6ft tall.. It's shocking.

[by kids, I mean, high school age.. like 12-16..]

That sounds so scary! It reminds me of that horror move The Strangers, they all had masks on etc.. :S

Lol! I bet it was! We had a pigeon trap itself in our kitchen once and I was only little but I remember my Mum going mad and screaming at my Dad to get rid of it lol.

Never really had a bat problem before though...
