You know most songs have an abrupt, sudden ending, and how others have the vocals and music fade into silence for the ending? What if someone did the latter, live? If they literally sang quieter and quieter until the music finished fading out.

That would be really cool, in an amsuing kind of way. Some performers must do that though, surely?

People (mostly Katie/Rebecca I think) often end it softer and little quieter, but not to the extent that you mean.

they should go to a big extent then. I'm talking about having sentences fading, not just end notes.

Yes that's what I mean. Quieter and quieter with the music, stopping at no specific time. Just stopping when you go silent.
